  • 7 Days

Overview

Embark on an unforgettable journey along Western Australia’s iconic Coral Coast with this 7‑Day Exmouth Explorer Tour, a return adventure from Perth that blends rugged landscapes, pristine beaches, and world‑class marine encounters. Designed for travellers who want to experience the region’s most spectacular highlights without the stress of long‑distance driving, this small‑group tour delivers seven days of discovery through the Pinnacles Desert, Kalbarri National Park, Shark Bay, Monkey Mia, Coral Bay, Ningaloo Reef, and Exmouth before looping back to Perth. With accommodation, meals, guided walks, and expert commentary included, it’s one of the most comprehensive and accessible ways to explore WA’s remote northwest .

Your adventure begins in Perth, heading north to the otherworldly Pinnacles Desert, where thousands of ancient limestone formations rise from golden sands. From here, the journey continues to the coastal town of Kalbarri, home to dramatic gorges, river lookouts, and the famous Nature’s Window. Guided hikes through Kalbarri National Park reveal the region’s geological history and breathtaking sandstone landscapes, offering the perfect balance of exploration and photography opportunities.

The tour then travels into the UNESCO‑listed Shark Bay region, where you’ll stroll along Shell Beach and stay overnight in Monkey Mia—renowned for its friendly wild dolphins that often swim close to shore. Further north, Coral Bay introduces you to the Ningaloo Reef, Australia’s largest fringing reef and one of the world’s most accessible marine ecosystems. Here, you can snorkel straight from the beach, join a manta ray cruise, or simply relax on white‑sand shores.

In Exmouth, the adventure continues with visits to Cape Range National Park, Vlamingh Head Lighthouse, and the turquoise waters of Turquoise Bay. Seasonal whale shark swims and optional boat tours offer once‑in‑a‑lifetime wildlife encounters. As the tour begins its return to Perth, you’ll pass through Carnarvon, Geraldton, and Green Head, enjoying coastal viewpoints, local produce, and the final stretch of WA’s scenic Indian Ocean Drive.

With six nights’ accommodation, most meals, guided bushwalks, and a knowledgeable road crew included, this 7‑day Perth‑to‑Exmouth return tour is ideal for solo travellers, backpackers, and adventure‑seekers wanting a fully supported, immersive Coral Coast experience.
