Your journey begins with pre and post-night stays at the award-winning Kingfisher Bay Resort on the western bay, where you can enjoy sunset cocktails, beachfront dining, and optional whale watching during season (August-October). The heart of your adventure features two full days of guided 4WD coach touring with expert local guides who reveal hidden gems alongside famous attractions.
Experience the island’s iconic highlights: swim in the crystal-clear waters of Lake McKenzie, float down Eli Creek’s freshwater stream, explore the historic Maheno Shipwreck, marvel at The Pinnacles’ vibrant colored sands, and cruise along the legendary 75 Mile Beach. You’ll spend one night at K’gari Beach Resort directly on 75 Mile Beach, offering an authentic east coast experience.
This small-group experience (maximum 40 guests) includes all meals, courtesy transfers from Hervey Bay, return ferry transport, and National Park fees. With knowledgeable guides sharing the island’s rich cultural stories and natural wonders, this tour delivers K’Gari’s most comprehensive itinerary for the ultimate bucket-list adventure.
On the day of arrival, you will be required to check in at our Kingfisher Bay Mainland Reception office (54 Ariadne Street, River Heads – Hervey Bay) 30 minutes prior to your departure. The 3.30pm ferry service has been booked for you. Should you wish to travel on an earlier ferry, or require a transfer from Hervey Bay accommodation please contact our reservations team at least 48 hours prior to your arrival. Operator office hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).
