Departing Melbourne in the morning, your journey begins with a scenic drive toward the valley, setting the tone for a relaxed and flavour‑rich adventure. Across the day, you’ll visit five hand‑picked venues to sample an impressive mix of wines, beer, spirits, and artisan chocolate. The first stop, Soumah of Yarra Valley, introduces you to cool‑climate reds and whites inspired by northern Italy and southeastern France . From there, the tour continues to St Huberts Cellar Door, where you can choose between wine, beer, cider, or even upgrade to a gin or whisky tasting—perfect for travellers who want variety beyond wine.
Lunch is enjoyed at Hubert Estate’s Quarters Restaurant, offering a fantastic menu with options for all dietary needs. Guests seeking a more premium experience can opt for a self‑booked lunch at Domaine Chandon, complete with sparkling‑wine views and a refined atmosphere.
The afternoon brings a guided chocolate tasting at the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie, featuring ten mouth‑watering samples, before finishing with a final wine flight at Balgownie Estate, framed by sweeping valley views .
With expert local guides, smooth transport, and a fun, social vibe, this tour delivers the perfect balance of indulgence, discovery, and scenic beauty. Whether you’re a wine lover, a foodie, or simply chasing a memorable day out from Melbourne, the Yarra Valley is ready to impress.
The Yarra Valley, just an hour from Melbourne, is one of Australia’s premier wine regions and well worth a visit. It’s famous for cool-climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with dozens of cellar doors ranging from boutique family vineyards to grand estates like Domaine Chandon and Yering Station. Beyond wine, the valley offers rolling green hills, gourmet dining, artisan producers (cheese, chocolate, berries), and the Healesville Sanctuary for native wildlife encounters. Hot air ballooning at sunrise is a popular highlight, drifting over vineyards and mist-covered farmland. It’s an easy day trip or relaxing weekend escape, blending scenery, food, and wine into one of Victoria’s best short getaways.

THIS MAP MAY TAKE YOU TO RUSSELL STREET EXT. BUT WE ARE ON FLINDERS STREET 🙂 Meet your guide and vehicle at “The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia” FLINDERS STREET at 8.35am as we leave promptly at 9am! This is directly opposite 154 Flinders Street. All trams are FREE in the CBD! Some days we leave earlier than 9am if everyone has arrived and ready to go and we get to take a more scenic drive. We cannot wait for anyone as it is a public group tour! We will leave at 9.01am with or without everyone. Unfortunately we do regularly leave without people because they have not given themselves enough time to get into the busy CBD. Please aim to be early as taxis and public transport can be very unreliable! If you arrive late, we will have left and you will have missed the tour. You are welcome to make your way to the first winery to meet the group.
Free cancellation: Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund.
